We aim for 7–10 days end-to-end. The breakdown:

• Day 0 — submission lands in the editor queue, you get an auto-confirmation email.
• Day 1–3 — an editor verifies it's open, looks legit, and matches the criteria.
• Day 4–7 — we add a stub page with your photo, your tagline, and the basics.
• Day 7–10 — we email you saying it's live and giving you the link.

If we hit a snag (duplicate, can't verify, declined), we email you within 5 days with a reason. About 70% of submissions reach "live".
