Why don't you list ratings to one decimal anymore?
For two years, we displayed ratings to one decimal place. Then we looked at the data, and the precision was lying.
A 4.6 vs 4.7 differs by something smaller than the room temperature on a given evening. We A/B tested whole-number bands instead — Great / Recommended / Mixed / Skip / Avoid — and save rates went up 11%, review submissions went up 23%. We changed it. Here we are.
